My Journey as a Mentor
Working as a mentor for both Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley’s Go Girls and Explorations programs, I have first-hand seen the positive impact that mentoring has on mentees.
From supporting the making of new friendships and development of social skills through fun group activities to witnessing the blossoming of newfound confidence through empowering mentees within our programs, it is clear that mentoring catalyzes growth and a beacon of positive influence, illuminating a path toward brighter futures for the children/youth of Langley.
As a mentor, the journey of witnessing these transformations has not only been fulfilling but also incredibly rewarding. The joy that comes from knowing you’ve played a role in shaping a brighter future for these children is truly immeasurable.
