Get ready for an incredible night of great drinks, delicious food, live music, games, and community at one of the coolest local venues; The Koop! All in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley.
The Big Social brings together some of the Fraser Valley’s favourite beverage producers, local food vendors, and talented musicians for one unforgettable evening in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley. Sip and sample from amazing partners including Camp Beer Co., Hester Creek, Black Fly Beverages, Nude Beverages, Roots and Wings Distillery, Arterra Wines, Veronica’s Perogies, Cozy Bean while enjoying live music from Steve Halfnights. Then head upstairs to keep the celebration going with live music from The Rundown, pool tables, games, a toonie toss, and more!

Every ticket purchased helps provide life-changing mentoring relationships for young people in Langley and Aldergrove. This year, we’re aiming to raise $25,000 to help ignite the potential of local youth.

TASTING TENT
Kick off your evening with two hours of wine, beer, and spirit tastings from some of the region’s best local craft vendors! As well as new this year we will have some local food vendors sharing some delicious samples with guests!
Each ticket includes tasting tokens (with more available for purchase), giving you the chance to explore a wide variety of flavours and discover some new local favourites. Set up outdoors; complete with warm lighting, casual games, and a relaxed community vibe; it’s the perfect way to ease into the night and connect with friends, old and new.
We’re thrilled to have Steve Halfnights joining us in the Tasting Tent at this year’s Big Social! With over 20 years of experience and a strong presence in the local music scene, Steve is known for performing at many of your favourite breweries and venues. His live music will set the perfect vibe as guests enjoy tastings from some of the best local vendors.

The Tasting Tent time will take place outside; rain or shine (please dress accordingly and wear appropriate footwear for grass/gravel). VIP EXPERIENCE

We will walk guests through a curated selection of craft beers, wine and food parings to kick off the evening.
JORDAN PERKINS
We’re thrilled to welcome Jordan Perkins Art to this year’s Big Social for an unforgettable live painting experience!
Jordan is a self-taught BC artist known for his bold, vibrant artwork and interactive live painting experiences. Throughout the evening, you’ll watch an original painting come to life right before your eyes and the best part? You get to be part of creating it! Guests will have the opportunity to add their own brushstroke to the canvas, making this one-of-a-kind piece a true community creation.
At the end of the evening, we’ll auction off the finished masterpiece, with a portion of the proceeds generously donated back to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley. It’s a true win-win; you could take home a stunning, original work of art while directly supporting mentorship for local youth.

LATE NIGHT
When the tastings wrap up at 7:00pm, the party is just getting started!
We’ll head upstairs into The Koop, a rustic, one-of-a-kind venue that’s the perfect place to keep the evening going. Grab a drink from the cash bar, challenge your friends to a game of pool, enjoy fun games throughout the space, and get ready for our exciting live auction! All while dancing and singing along to live music from The Rundown, who will be keeping the energy high all night long.
Still have room for more? We’ve got you covered! Sip N Slice Catering will be on-site serving up delicious food available for purchase throughout the evening, so you can grab a bite while you enjoy everything the Late Night celebration has to offer.
Whether you’re catching up with friends, meeting new people, bidding on amazing auction items, or simply enjoying the incredible atmosphere, Late Night at The Koop is the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable evening supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley.

We are so excited to welcome The Rundown to The Big Social this year! Your go-to cover band from the Fraser Valley. They tackle everything from top Country hits to 80’s, 90’s, 00’s and more!
You’ll find them playing as a house band in Chilliwack to the big stage at the Cloverdale Rodeo, around town at fairs, festivals and more!

Through the Big Social our goal is to bring the Langley community together for a fun, relaxed and intimate evening and raise important funds to empower youth through mentorship. 100% of the proceeds from this event are used to fund and support the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley 1:1 and group mentorship programs throughout Langley.
We create mentoring relationships that change young people’s lives. With training and professional support, Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors form strong positive relationships with their mentees that express care, challenge growth, provide support, share power, and expand possibilities.
The mentoring programs that we offer provide youth with a role model to talk to and share the experiences of growing up with. Through regular outings, a relationship is developed, which is built on trust and common interests, and is supported by our experienced case-workers. The result is a life-changing experience for both the mentor and the mentee.
