Join our NHL Playoff Pool & Support a Great Cause!We’re excited to invite you to our 2025 NHL Playoff Pool! Experience all the playoff excitement while supporting a meaningful cause—helping to ignite the potential of youth in our community. ✨

How the Pool Works:

  • Draft: Box player draft based on the 2025 NHL Playoff season. You’ll draft 24 players—16 forwards, 5 defensemen, and 3 goalies.
  • Platform: We’ll be using Office Pools to host the pool.
  • Points: Accumulate points throughout the playoffs based on player performance.
  • Scoring:
    • Forwards & Defensemen:
      • Goals: 1 point
      • Assists: 1 point
      • Blocked Shots: 1 point
    • Goalies
      • Wins: 1 point
      • Shutout: 2 points

How to Enter:

  1. Register: Join our NHL Playoff Pool by clicking this link
  2. Player Selection: Once the pool is live, we’ll send you a link to make your player selections closer to the start of the playoffs. You can enter directly through Office Pools online or email your selections to admin.langley@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca.

Entry Rules:

  • Cost: $25 per entry
  • Multiple Entries: You can enter as many times as you’d like, but each entry must have unique selections.
  • Maximum Entries: 800
  • Age: Must be 19+ to participate
  • Deadline: All entries and payments must be submitted before Friday, April 18, 2025, at 4:00 PM PDT

Determination of Winners:

  • Winners are ranked based on total points accumulated.
  • Tie-Breakers:
    1. Most Goals Scored (forwards and defensemen only)
    2. If still tied, Highest Points Per Game (forwards and defensemen only)

Prizes:

  • 🥇 1st Place – 25% of ticket sales
  • 🥈 2nd Place – 10% of ticket sales
  • 🥉 3rd Place – 5% of ticket sales
  • Total Prize Pool: 40% of ticket sales will go toward prizes!
