In Langley, children are waiting for mentors across all of our programs. Volunteers are ready, but resources are the barrier.
Every mentoring match takes careful recruitment, screening, training, and ongoing support. Without funding, kids stay on our waitlists.
That’s why we created the 75 Doors Campaign. In the next year, we want to open 75 doors to serve more kids and reach 500 children supported through our programs. Each door represents breaking barriers and creating opportunities for young people to thrive.
With a donation of $1,500, you can open a door for a child, giving them a safe, supportive mentoring relationship.

Why 75 Doors?
A door can be an opening to opportunity…. or a barrier. For kids, these doors can feel like isolation, low self-esteem, struggles at school, or not feeling like they belong. For families, a door may be a long wait while their child waits for a mentor. For our agency, it is the challenge of growing to meet the needs of our community.
Every unopened door is a lost opportunity. These 75 Doors are the difference between a child waiting or stepping into a life-changing relationship, between our agency standing still or growing to meet the urgent needs of young people in Langley.

In 2024 we provided service to over 400 young people. But the demand for our programs continues to increase.
Our agency receives no guaranteed funding and relies on the generosity of our community through donations, fundraising efforts, and grants to sustain and grow these vital programs.

Growing up in Langley can be wonderful, but some kids in our community face barriers: adverse experiences and circumstances outside their control. Not only can mentorship from a Big change the life of a Little, it also helps shape the future of our entire community. But we can’t do it alone.
We’re committed to maintaining and supporting the vital mentoring relationships we create. As the need for mentors increases, we work diligently to meet the need. But this is only possible with your support.
