Big Brothers Big Sister Month 2022

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley is proud to celebrate and showcase the power and impact of mentoring in our community and across Canada!

This September, Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across the country will be celebrating Big Brothers Big Sisters Month and all the ways that volunteer mentors support 41,000 youth in Canada. Big Brothers Big Sisters Month recognizes the critical importance of mentoring relationships, especially this year when young people are being challenged like never before.

To celebrate Big Brothers Big Sisters month this September, our goal is to create three new Big Brother matches and three new Big Sister matches. This would mean six children in Langley will be introduced to a mentor who will support them as they discover their full potential!

We know mentoring relationships protect against harmful effects and help young people heal. Big Brothers Big Sisters continues to provide life-changing mentoring services across our network and help build resilience among children.

Together, we can ignite the power and potential of many young children because we are #BiggerTogether. Join us to celebrate Big Brothers Big Sisters Month by sharing the message of what it means to be #BiggerTogether on social media, referring volunteers, and donating to our programs.

Thank you for believing in the power of mentoring.
